ICELANDIC SHEEP PLUS DUBBING is a blend of hair from Icelandic sheep and very fine synthetic fibres that give the dubbing a subtle shimmer that in many cases makes the difference between the fish ignoring your artificial fly or taking it because of the increased attraction.
This dubbing is manufactured and dyed in Italy according to hotfly superb specifications. This ensures a consistently high quality of the product. During the various processing steps, this dubbing also acquires water-repellent properties, making it primarily suitable for imitating the bodies, thoraxes and also wings of dry flies, especially so-called hunting flies. However, it is also used for wet flies, emergers and nymphs. ICELANDIC SHEEP PLUS DUBBING is very easy to tie in both in combination with tying wax as well as with the loop method.
With its fine, medium stiff hairs, this dubbing is similar to that based on seal fur and due to its comparable properties, it is a very good substitute.
We offer this dubbing in many tried and tested colours, from naturally to bright. In each package you will find 1 gram of dubbing.
