With the TUBE FLY TOOL from Stonfo you can tie tube flies on any conventional fly-tying vise. To do this, simply clamp the narrow lip of this tool in the jaws of your fly-tying vise and you have a perfect device that holds the tubes firmly and securely during tying so that they cannot move or, even worse, turn.
The tube is simply threaded onto one of the two supplied tips, pushed into the TUBE FLY TOOL as far as it will go, and the tip is fixed to the tool with the larger knurled nut. By turning the smaller nut with the conical head, you can fix the tube even tighter, as the tube is pressed against the opposite rubberised head of the tip. This means that every tube is clamped absolutely tight.
The TUBE FLY TOOL comes with two tips in different diameters of 1.1 and 1.5 mm. This covers all areas of use and tube sizes, including those for the large saltwater tube flies.
